While training with Kern for the past two years, my body has undergone a transformation. I have been able to achieve my goal weight in a slow and steady manner while building lean muscle. I have worked with other trainers in the past but have never met a trainer as motivating, well-versed in this field, patient and thoughtful as Kern. He trains me alongside my friend and he is able to help us achieve and maintain our individual goals even though they are different. He has the perfect balance of "drill sergeant", motivator, and friend. He has pushed me to my limits and on many occasions I've yelled and screamed only to be laughing 5 minutes later. He has also educated me on nutrition and macro tracking which is helping to maintain my new physique.
You will never regret training with Kern, he is really one of the best! I am looking forward to many more years of working together.
I have been training with Kern for almost 2 years now and I must say I have a love/hate relationship with him. I hate him when he pushes me to do things that I didn’t think I was capable of yet I love him for the very same reason. He pushes you to be the best yet he is extremely friendly and welcoming which makes it a tad bit easier. I can’t thank him enough for getting me back into shape and implementing a healthier lifestyle. Kern is patient yet doesn’t let me take the easy way out and he is dedicated to fitness and nutrition. He is always on time for his appointments and I feel he is committed to my progress as I am. I thank him for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself :)
Kern is such a positive force in the gym. He knows exactly how far to push to the most out your workout. He is great at accommodating and working around injuries as well.
I’ve worked with several personal trainers over the years, but no-one like Kern. He has inspired me to achieve a level of strength and fitness I never imagined I was capable of. He is not only extremely knowledgeable about fitness and diet, but also very thoughtful in the way that he has structured my workout so that I can exercise pain-free, despite an old knee injury and arthritis in my shoulder.
